Make a CUBE

• You need 6 pieces to make the cube.
• All the pieces are identical (except for the colour).
• Until you have all 6 pieces the cube will not hold itself together.
• There is no glue, magnets or clips.
• When all 6 pieces are together they each hold each other together to form the CUBE.
• As soon as you twist one piece the CUBE falls apart.

There are several methods to make a cube. Most people find the following method the easiest:

	Hold the 2 yellow pieces together with one hand. Hold them where the 2 pieces meet.
	Hold the 2 blue pieces together with the other hand. Hold them along the long edges - away from where they meet.
	Slide the blue pieces through the yellow ones.
	Continue sliding them....
	And then you can let go with the hand that was holding the blue pieces.
	With your free hand take one of the red pieces and twist it in.
	With your free hand take the other red piece and twist it in.
	And the CUBE is finished!

You can use this first method to make the CUBE and then the LINK. But to make more complex shapes you need to use a slightly more complicated method (like this next method) because there is not enough room around the pieces.

	Hold the 2 pieces together with one hand (in this example they are blue). Hold them where the 2 pieces meet.
	With your second hand put a piece in position under the 2 blue pieces.
	Support this red piece with your first hand.
	With your second hand put a piece in position above the 2 blue pieces.
	Hold these two red pieces together with your second hand.
	Let go with your first hand and your second hand holds the two red pieces which in turn hold the two blue pieces.
	With your free hand take one of the yellow pieces and twist it in.
	With your free hand take the other yellow piece and twist it in.
	And the CUBE is finished!
